krónika

Bourdon Dragon, The Order of Medieval Music was established in 2010 appearing on stage in this April for the first time.
The band plays especially medieval secular music most of them dating back to the 11th-16th century. Our repertoire contains Hungarian, Scottish, Irish, Sefard hebrew, Macedonian, Dutch, Provençal, Spanish, French songs and our own compositions inspired by medieval-sounding tunes. The Dragons provide entertainment for the audience in three different forms dressed in contemporary costumes:
I. Stage appearance – stage appearance lasts 90 minutes consisting of vocal and instrumental compositions. The instrumental part contains both dynamic and lyrical songs, the former performed with medieval horns and drums, the later with flutes, cister, violin and kobza among others.
II. Medieval mop fair – fairs, castle performances, Renaissance carnivals, processions and other medieval events conjured up with medieval horns, hooters and stilted drums.
III. Hungarian dance house – dancing lessons.

Duration of dance house and mop fair is unlimited.
